HIGH Program Volunteers show their Wayne State pride (“W” for Wayne State!) while enjoying a pizza party together after a productive day of engaging with the Detroit community. Our volunteers helped photograph and film material that will be used for a series of documentary videos that expose the poor living conditions of many of our neediest students. Our goal is to spread awareness and raise support for students.

Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business Alumni Association's 10 th Annual Swing for the Students golf event took place on Monday, July 18 th . Mark S. Lee, President of The LEE Group, and host of "Small Talk with Mark S. Lee", broadcasted live from the event and featured Salma Al Azmeh, HIGH Program’s President of Volunteers, as a guest speaker.  Swing for the Students  has raised nearly $500,000 for student scholarships and activities to date. 

Need to Talk Radio Show Featured Mrs. Jacqueline Wilson, The First Lady of Wayne State University Tune in to the  Need to Talk  radio show featured every Fourth Wednesday of each month, on WRCJ 90.9.  Need to Talk  is an hour long talk show hosted by Dr. Deborah Spence which provide compassionate counselors through face-to-face appointments, web-counseling, or group counseling appointments. Mrs. Wilson, First Lady of Wayne State University was featured on June 22, 2016 to explain the HIGH Program assistance for Wayne State students. To listen to the show,   please click on  this link .

Spread love in Detroit. Drop off donuts to your local police department. President M. Roy Wilson and First Lady Jacqueline Wilson of Wayne State commend local law enforcement for their service and everything they do for the great City of Detroit.
