Wayne State HIGH Program donates canned goods and clothing to the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries

The HIGH (Helping Individuals Go Higher) Program began in 2013 with a goal to help homeless, precariously housed and financially challenged students to persist in their goal to earn a degree from Wayne State University. The HIGH Program recently partnered with the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries in an effort to donate canned goods, and clothing to needy individuals and families in Detroit. This was all possible because of the HIGH Program's generous donors. The Detroit Rescue Mission is a non-profit organization that is devoted to helping individuals rebuild their lives and fight against homelessness and substance abuse. The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries serves more than 1,800 men, women and children in the Detroit community every day. To learn more about the history of the Detroit Rescue Mission, volunteer opportunities, how to donate, and the services they provide, please visit their website: http://drmm.org/services/ Wayne State University’s first lady, J...
